CULTURE
Culture is the real operating system of any organization. We help you design one that drives performance, strengthens alignment, and empowers people to deliver at their best.
Where Strategy Lives or Dies
Culture isn’t what’s written on the wall, it’s what people feel when they walk through the door. It’s the invisible force that shapes how work gets done and whether excellence becomes habit or exception.
At McLeskey Strategic, we move beyond buzzwords to build cultures that attract, retain, and ignite exceptional talent.
Our approach starts with truth. We uncover the unwritten rules. The real stories. The subtle dynamics driving behavior today. Then we partner with you to define what you may need to change, and who you need to become. Through assessment, leadership alignment, and intentional action, we close the gap between aspiration and reality.
Strong culture isn’t accidental—it’s architectural. Designed through clear values. Reinforced through consistent communication. Modeled by authentic leadership. It starts at the top, or it doesn’t work at all.
When culture is healthy, performance follows. Engagement rises. Turnover falls. People don’t just work for the company, they believe in it.
When culture works for people, business excellence follows.
PROJECTS
Learning and Culture Development: Consulted to help develop an associate-driven DEIB council and create a two-fold strategic communication learning initiative to better understand the role of diversity and inclusion; and the importance of fostering psychological safety in an organization to enhance innovation and provide a supporting and safe, collaborative culture for managing 2000+ multi-family properties across the US.
Culture Development: Led a culture change initiative during one of the largest spinoffs in US corporate history to date. Developed all leadership content and employee communication, skill development, and cultural strategy to transform the organization into one with a mindset of entrepreneurial thinking to successfully meet the demands of competing independently in a volatile processor marketplace.
Change Management: Developed an intensive internal branding campaign embedded with a positive reinforcement safety culture program to reshape traditional railroad core values. Conducted focus groups in 7 cities to determine cultural attitudes toward and responsibility for safe behaviors in the workplace. Through an extensive positive reinforcement strategy, reduced personal injuries by 15-30% in all regions.
